STRUCTURAL STEEL DETAILER – TEKLA - LONGFORD
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client provides a wide range of services to the steel construction
industry, including projects where clients request value engineering
for their structural steel work
Assist in the design & delivery of steel framed modular buildings
Steel Fabrication / Specification Services / Sub-structure drawings
Design and detail of steelwork for fabricator suppliers
Steel and rebar&# *;s schedules
Work in conjunction with other management
Liaise with engineers, architects and builders.
Site meetings
Quality check on steel before leaving the workshop. Welds, paint,
splatter etc.etc.
Using Tekla Structures to accurately price tenders
Co-ordination of underground services
Day to day liaison with the technical departments for construction
details.
Coordination of construction drawings
Preparation of structural layout drawings
Preparation of foundation layout drawings
REQUIREMENTS
3rd Level Qualification in Construction Technology/Engineering
Min 1 years experience
Structural steel detailing and fabrication in AutoCAD, TEKLA
Structures
RC detailing in AutoCAD Structural Detailing
Highly skilled in preparing Structural Layout - GA and Sectional
Detail drawings in AutoCAD, Revit Structure and TEKLA Structures
